One of the nice things about a June birthday is you are pretty much guaranteed a sunny day. Ivo is sixty nine today. I met him when he was twenty, and we've been together ever since. He still looks the same to me.xx We had an outing this morning, and came home to do a little more gardening and to have lunch on the deck. After reading Shammi's comment on my last post, it inspired Ivo and I to go to Port Perry for the afternoon on Sunday. The weather was lovely and the town wasn't too busy, as will be the case later in the Summer. We wandered around, had coffee and some delicious soft ginger cookies (they were huge! Then sat by the water for a while. The smell of blossom from the dozens of trees along the waterfront is beautiful. Port Perry grain elevator. Labels: Out and about.
