Velobambina: Rainy Friday
http://velobambina.blogspot.com/2009/09/rainy-friday.html
Friday, September 11, 2009. Bike - 1 hr, 45 mins (trainer). Swim - 1,500/42 mins. Woke to rain, so I spent some time on the trainer, doing Spinervals (ABB6 and Recovery/Technique). Felt much restored after a good night's sleep and the three-hour nap yesterday. . More b-s from the boss at work. It's ok. He's taken all of my work off of me, so I have two and a half days to pack up next week. Maybe I'll spend the afternoons at Headquarters since I'm just sitting around with nothing to do.

http://spring-bound.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 13, 2010. My kind of town. Chicago is. We went for a long weekend in July with our friends Javier, Cheri, Scott and Robin and had a blast. It was John's first trip to Chicago and I hadn't been in over 15 years. The trip was planned by Washburn Alumni, but it was very much a do your own thing kind of trip. We started off with a Chicago architectural boat tour and I highly recommend it! We made it through the crowds and did some shopping. We ended up on the 96th floor of the Hancock Cent...

Velobambina: Labor Day
http://velobambina.blogspot.com/2009/09/labor-day.html
Monday, September 7, 2009. Bike Miles - 43. Swim - 2,500/70 mins. My swim was great. Quite to my surprise, it wasn't that crowded and I had the bulkhead lane to myself. I was able to get into a rhythm. . It's a very cloudy and humid Labor Day. Feels like rain. Actually rain is predicted on and off for the entire week, which is a bummer. . Sunday, August 7, 2011. Vacation, all I ever wanted. We ate well, drank well, played hard, read, biked, walked, ran, golfed, shopped, read, and relaxed. We ate dinner outside every night and set up the projector to watch a couple of movies poolside. It was a wonderful trip. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Thursday, October 29, 2009. While John was busy "working" at the Arkansas Heritage and Blues Festival, I made my way to Houston to see my friend Corrie and her children. Corrie's husband Chad was working the Festival with John, so Corrie and I had a little girls' weekend. Corrie and I shopped a little, drank a little, ate very well and had a wonderful time hanging out with Carson and Carly! Wednesday, October 14, 2009. We took a small group and a limo to pick him up from the airport. Brenda, Cheri an...

http://spring-bound.blogspot.com/2011/02/recap.html
Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Damn it. Once again, I've let too many months go in between posts. Here are some highlights from the past few months. We hosted Thanksgiving with my parents, Greg and Kerrice. Everything was delicious.except for the sweet potatoes I'd never even put in the oven. Christmas was lovely. We saw everyone and spent the following week together at home. We had another small pajama party for NYE. It's my favorite. John says we should make annual t-shirts. We celebrated our friend Bre...

Friday, May 28, 2010. To see live.you don't want to be disappointed. In no way was I disappointed. This was easily one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Friday, May 14, 2010. Yes, it is me. I'm still alive and well. But it was winter and I don't function well in winter, particularly this long, cold winter. And I began to wonder what the purpose of this blogging was. What did I want to say, to share? It is May. There's a bright, big, beautiful world out there. Let's make the most of it.

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival celebrated it's 25th anniversary this year and we were there for the celebration! Known as King Biscuit Blues Festival since it's inception, the name had to be changed several years ago. But thanks to a very profitable, successful festival, it's going back to the King Biscuit name! Corrie, Anson Funderburgh and me. 65279; We had a blast!
