I have been thinking about setting up this page. Dedicated solely to Down Syndrome, or more appropriately known as Trisomy 21. It remained as a thought for many months as I hesitate to put K in the "limelight" over my two older ones, and it is certainly not my intention to emphasize and focus on the fact that she has one more chromosome than us in all her cells. I did a search online and most of the "down syndrome blogs" listed are not written by Asians. That was a blog I guest posted on my friend's blog.

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Friday, October 31, 2014. And for all the parents whose foetuses are suspected to have DS, I pray that you will have faith and carry on your pregnancy! It is not that simple, you may say. Yes, I agree, and I know that. If you would look through my past posts about dear sweet K who has DS, you will believe that I have my fair share of trials with her. When people try to encourage me by saying that I am a special mom chosen by God, it didn't feel that special either.
