The Hameloth Family Journey: What do ya know Jo?
http://hamelothjourney.blogspot.com/2015/07/what-do-ya-know-jo.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. What do ya know Jo? She knows that she is loved. By a lot of people in her life and I’m so thankful for that. The nurses that brought her to her 6 week check up appointment just went on and on about how special she is and how they wished all the kids could be as pleasant and smiley as Josie! It was a very long appointment though….four hours! But it was good to see her and her foot looks good! I was bummed to find out that Bella had to be moved to another rehab place. Dr Fortuna ...

The Hameloth Family Journey: November 2014
http://hamelothjourney.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. But now it has come to a close and it is back to the “real” world tomorrow. We had a lovely 4 day holiday weekend. Daddy had a vacation day saved so he could take off on Friday, so we have been enjoying just being together for the past 4 days. Is it possible that it went fast and slow all at the same time! It was a very nice rest and refreshment time. We had a nice meal and fellowship at Grandma’s house on Turkey Day. But I just was enjoying being fully present. We couldn’...

Friday, October 31, 2014. FALL crafting gone wild! What in the world got into me this week! There has been glitter and glue guns involved? There has been field trips and messes in the kitchen! I decided that this would be our “fun” fall week. And fun we did have! We started off the week by going to a local orchard and getting FRESH apples and yummy apple cider. Which we then made into Apple Cider pancakes! But if you want to try them here is the recipe. Then it was onto the crafts! It was a BEAUTIFUL.

The Hameloth Family Journey: February 2015
http://hamelothjourney.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 28, 2015. There are few things that really rock my world anymore. I’ve pretty much been able to roll with the punches that life dishes out. I have learned (most of the time! To trust that God will work everything out or give me the grace and strength to endure whatever it is I am walking through. But when I got the call last night that my (very) good friend has been diagnosed with rectal cancer. That rocked my world. In ways I was not expecting. It just couldn’t be That. . 8220;But bec...

The Hameloth Family Journey: June 2015
http://hamelothjourney.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Coming up for air. My girlfriend, Vicki, sent me this towel. I need me some sweet tea after these past couple of weeks! This has been my mantra this week:. I have realized that I can’t do everything….I would like to of course! But what I can do is go about my day with a servant’s heart and just love those around me. Had a foot taken out of her colon on Friday. And she is now the proud (? Owner of an illi bag. Doesn’t she look amazing for not having a shower in 4 days! I wouldn&#...

The Hameloth Family Journey: March 2015
http://hamelothjourney.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. A million pieces…. Today while I was waiting for Marcia to be done “radiating”, I was praying that the laser beams would destroy all the cancer cells and that she would feel good this afternoon. But a part of me was again questioning “why her Lord? As I sit in the waiting area and look around it is all “old people”….people AT LEAST 20 years older then us. So why has my friends life been thrown into a million little pieces? Marcia is feeling amazingly well, considering! 160; When ...

Saturday, May 30, 2015. Sewing with Super G. The girls have learned SO much during their sewing classes. That their Grandma did with them! It was fun to see their excitement and see their finished projects. They learned what the different stitches are called.and now they will look at a hem or something that is sewn and tell me what stitch it is. They learned how to use the sewing machine. Ava is very good at fine motor skills but she has a heavy foot I'm told! She likes to go fast! I'm so proud of them!

The Hameloth Family Journey: Eight is Great!
http://hamelothjourney.blogspot.com/2015/07/eight-is-great.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Ava turned 8 on Saturday. . She barely slept on Friday night as she was SO very excited for her birthday and to spend the day at the zoo. When she woke up there was a morning present waiting beside her bed….just like at home. It is so hard to imagine that she was 3 years old when we went to China in 2011 to become her parents. She constantly thanks Jesus for her family….and we are so thankful we were called to be her Daddy and Mama. Then after supper on Saturday we all gathered ...
