Tuesday, January 18, 2011. This year the deer have made their trail through the middle of the backyard right to the driveway, about 10 feet from the deck. Several times a day, many different white tails come and go along this trail. Here is a very small sample:. A little buck coming around the south corner of the deck. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Getting snow to fall off the shop roof. Just in case we have to make up for missing school because of a "snow day" our school district schedules "make-up snow days" on the school calendar. Friday January 14th was one of these "make-up" days, but fortunately we have not had to miss school for any "snow days" .yet.so the kids didn't have school. Unfortunately (for them) the shop/garage roof was in need of snow removal. A little buck coming around the south corner of the deck.

Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Rick and the boys went to Grandma Sandys house for Christmas. I had to stay home and work : (. We opened presents the day before Christmas Eve right before the boys left for UT. Basically they all got $ this year so they could buy what they really wanted. I think it worked out well. Friday, March 19, 2010. And we wait for Payette Lake to thaw, as it does every year. Maybe a little sooner this year than some of the past years. The weather has turned "spring-like". I suppose because tomorrow is the first day of spring.
