Quick Links to Furniture:. For people who love wood,. The Harvest table is a wonderful way to show the natural beauty of the wood. Table tops can be made with Cherry or Birdseye Maple. Sizes range from 36 x 36 to 96 x 40. Harvest tables feature square tapered legs and two 18 drawers, one on each side. All of our tables are solid wood and will last a lifetime and beyond. Longer tables can accomodate two drawers on each side.

Just day to day goings on in an old house in an old town. Friday, November 25, 2011. I love working alone in a big old stone building all day. But do I start to talk to myself, and ask myself questions (out loud) and so I try to get out for a walk at lunch everyday! I'm working on the "north side" of town, but live on the "south" side of town, so I'm discovering new things. A renovation that shows a bit of the building's history. A neat old fence post finishing off a wall of stone. Who's going to save it?

Just day to day goings on in an old house in an old town. Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Tires on Bridge Street. Here's a photo from the 1920's of Bennett Chevrolet at its original location at the corner of High and Bridge streets. Evidently they sold Goodyear tires and tubes. Bennett Chevrolet is still in Carleton Place, a big dealership out near the "strip". The Bennetts bought the dealership from the McGregors. I'm pretty sure the painted sign on the stone wall says "Mcgregors Garage".

It has a fountain, benches, and a few historical plaques along the river. To get the whole space in the photo I had to set myself up in a parking lot, so excuse the dumpster!
