Thinking about SG Business and Policies. 8220;Thinking is more interesting than knowing, but less interesting than looking” - Johann Wolfgang von Goe. Saturday, July 1, 2006. Thinking about SG Business and Policies. 8220;Thinking is more interesting than knowing, but less interesting than looking” - Johann Wolfgang von Goe. Sunday, July 3, 2005. I refer to “ Four Rafflesians win President’s scholarship.” (ST 29 July). I was not surprised that the four President scholars were all Raffelsians. However, I was more struck by the fact that “all four come from comfortable background – none of them live in HDB flats.”. If I am not wrong, I believe a disproportional number of PSC sch...

Thinking about SG Business and Policies: Comments section taken off the Straits Times Interactive
http://sgthink.blogspot.com/2007/09/comments-section-taken-off-straits.html
Thinking about SG Business and Policies. 8220;Thinking is more interesting than knowing, but less interesting than looking” - Johann Wolfgang von Goe. Saturday, September 29, 2007. Comments section taken off the Straits Times Interactive. Why has the comment option of the Straits Time Interactive has been removed? Given that STI tends to report more favorably on the actions of the government, it is not surprising the comments left on STI aim to balance that by being less favorably on the government.

Thinking about SG Business and Policies. 8220;Thinking is more interesting than knowing, but less interesting than looking” - Johann Wolfgang von Goe. Wednesday, May 17, 2006. Positive outcome from the Gomez saga. Below is a forum letter that highlighted a positive component to the debate about the Gomez saga. Again, and continuing his party involvement in Worker's Party. Anyway, I think the judiciary and police handled this situation professionally, and it is good for. May 16, 2006. I REFER to the artic...

Thinking about SG Business and Policies. 8220;Thinking is more interesting than knowing, but less interesting than looking” - Johann Wolfgang von Goe. Tuesday, August 16, 2005. Our civil servants must be responsible for the loss of $388 million. The government, through PSD and ISA are right in writing the letters of explanation for the process leading to the mistake of the $388m payout. I believe our civil servants should be held responsible and given appropriate chastisement for losing $388 m of taxpaye...
