The Frilly Diaries – English. My favourite London bookshops. Posted in LONDON LIFE. When I walk in a bookshop I can seriously be dangerous. It is impossible for me to get out with empty hands. Sometimes I feel I’m addicted to “literary shopping” and since I’ve moved to London, it’s getting worse because there are so many bookshops around here. Although I love of all them unconditionally and I still need to visit a lot of them, I would like to share with you a list of my favourite bookshops in London.

The Frilly Diaries – English. Paris mon amour – The Girls weekend. This was the one very special trip. More special than all the others. Not only because the four of us were reunited once again. Little, big secrets kept hidden through our smiles and our conspiratorial glimpses. I do strongly believe that a trip with your childhood friends it’s a kind of blessing that life can give you as a gift. And if the destination is one of your favourite cities, well… les jeux sont faits! Continue reading →.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful boys - DiscomBUBulated

It's a play on words. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful boys. October 24, 2012. Bull; 1 Comment. I just love it when in the middle of a book you stumble across a paragraph that makes you feel so.something, that you have to read it again. And again. And you never forget it. Here is that passage, in all its simplicity:. We might be inconvenienced, annoyed, irritated, delighted, indifferent to or excited by a house. But it’s what happens inside those four walls – the laughs, the lov...As John Lenno...

Peace in Perth - DiscomBUBulated

It's a play on words. November 4, 2012. Bull; 0 Comments. Traveling south of Perth for a week with a then eight month old BUB.1 epitomised what is good and bad about traveling with babies. We got to see some beautiful sights, but not for long. We very often saw the sights alone as the other one waited in the car with the sleeping baby. We dashed a mad relay to drink in some of the most stunning sights on the planet. For just an instant. Pemberton (where Willy Wonka climbed the Gloucester Tree):. Notify m...

It's a play on words. Dawn of the Red. October 18, 2012. Bull; 2 Comments. There was a story in the news. This week about a photographer who accidentally snapped a sunrise marriage proposal at Bondi Beach. It reminded me of a photograph Willy Wonka took one extraordinary morning in September 2009, six weeks after BUB.1 was born, at that very same spot. My favourite photo taken by Willy Wonka is this one, where he accidentally captured two people on the edge of the cliff. Little martian creatures, stu...

Desert island pregnancy survival kit - DiscomBUBulated

It's a play on words. Desert island pregnancy survival kit. August 14, 2012. Bull; 2 Comments. Right, you’ll need a whole host of bizarre things like belly bands, belly belts, belly balm and breast pads won’t you? Hmm, well in trying to think of the things that I would quite like to have access to on a desert island if I was pregnant and washed up, I found it was everyday items that would be my essentials. Gaviscon – get a tank installed in your garden and order by the gallon. Trust me on this. Slippers ...

How Ship Life is Like…. What to Do Wednesday. I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts. I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts. Thoughts From a Landlocked Sailor. Yes, I’ve Tried Online Dating. May 31, 2016. Have you tried Bumble? My friend met her fiancé on OkCupid. I bet Tinder is good for a laugh. Are you on there? So after weekends of weddings, baby showers and bridesmaid prep, I decided it was time to go all out. It was time to put myself on every dating app. 1) OkCupid is still creepy. Right so long as you...

Pop! - DiscomBUBulated

It's a play on words. February 10, 2014. Bull; 3 Comments. Just a few weeks ago we were in a pre-BUB.3 decorating frenzy, complete with new boiler, new radiators, new plug sockets. It wasn’t a house of horrors but we were camped out, during the day, in one room with boxes piled high at one side. The Fly’s action predominately happens in the laboratory where Walter and Jesse cook their crystal blue meth. Gilligan notes that the limited setting and cast allowed for a slower pace and deeper explor...In thos...

That London - DiscomBUBulated
http://discombubulated.com/2015/07/07/that-london
It's a play on words. July 7, 2015. Bull; 0 Comments. You need to be rich to enjoy London. London, no it’s fine for a day, to see something, I don’t know, a play or an exhibition, but London, no you can keep it. I could never live there. Who could? I walked from Paddington to Holborn, over two miles along Oxford Street, possibly the busiest part of London on a Saturday afternoon, but I wasn’t jostled or scowled at by anyone. I hopped along merrily. Yes, there are a lot of people in London. But at lea...

It's a play on words. August 28, 2012. Bull; 1 Comment. I spent the majority of my childhood bouncing a tennis ball against my bedroom wall, and I often wonder if in today’s rush to fill our toddler and preschooler’s lives with endless activities we might be missing something? Or am I just a lazy pig? Larr; Teenage dirtbag. Attached at the nip →. 1 comment for “ Lazy pig. Pingback: Mud pies and rose-petal perfume DiscomBUBulated. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
