Monday, 9 March 2015. Lake Mburo National Park. We set off pretty early from Bwindi; it was another long drive to get to lake Mburo but as always it was another wonderful drive full of amazing things to see. We saw gorgeous elephants grazing, some in the waterhole and we even saw the national bird of Uganda, the one that’s on the flag, the grey crested crane. This guy was waiting for us to get out of his way. We then settled in to our camp, had a shower with the water heated by fire and took a look around.

Friday, 26 December 2014. After 2 years now of trying to get back to Africa the time has finally come for me to return, this time to Uganda. I applied for the ILO program back at the beginning of the summer and after individual, group interviews and assessment days I earned my place to go out to Africa and represent Wales in a town called Mbale in 'The Pearl of Africa'. Mbale is on the south west). 10 facts about Uganda;. 1 Uganda is a land locked country. 2 Most of the country is over 1,000m in altitude.

Wednesday, 2 January 2013. So today I went to Botswana to Chobe national park. Within the national park there are many animals, all the big 4 (no rhino) the most famous but also illusive the leopard. The thing with going on hame drives is that some days you can seemnothing and the next day you could see everything! It was absolutely stunning, so beautiful but it kept it's distance. Sunday, 1 March 2015. My return will be like Jesus'. The time has come; my Child of Hope story has come to and end. I’m so so sad. I’ve had such an amazing time here, and made some really good friends. Women hand sorting the coffee. Stamped and ready ti ship. Their tasting section - I want this job. Perfectly sorted coffee - yes it's green! At lunch time, they’d arranged a little farewell get together for me with sodas biscuits and sweets.
