Monday, June 29, 2009. 16 months.wow. Really? Daddy took William to the park for a photo shoot and got some really great shots. He's getting so big it's almost sad! He's walking everywhere and talking up a storm. He says about 30ish words now (I've lost track) and he's so funny! He loves to make faces at you to get you to laugh and he kisses everything (including our cat, who just LOVES it as you can imagine). I can't believe he's almost 1-1/2 years old. Wednesday, April 8, 2009. This is a picture of William's first Easter. I can't believe how fast time flies! I love this age that he is now, but I still miss cuddling that tiny little baby! He had absolutely no idea what was going on, or why I had him dressed in clothes that were WAY too big for him (family tradition on my side that kids get dressed up for Easter, particularly in things that are horribly uncomfortable). Wednesday, March 18, 2009. 13 months old.sort of! This is our little monkey at 13 months old. Ok, he doesn't turn 13 months until Saturday, but hey. It's not like his appearance is going to dramatically change in the next 3 days, ok? Some of his big achievements right now are:. Pulls himself up on the furniture constantly. Cruises along the furniture, as well as walks with a push walker. Says mama, dada, oh, uh-oh, and wow. Is completely off formula and bottles. Sleeps through the night and naps great.

Turns out having an active 2 year old in the house doesn't leave much time for blogging. We're alive and kicking, just bad about blogging about it. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Due to ridiculous 100* heat around here, we packed up and went to the beach last weekend for a day trip. We ended up at Port Hueneme State Park in Ventura. I was a little skittish about going to the beach, as we've tried before and William was NOT impressed, but this time we came prepared with a bucket and shovel! It made all the difference! Monday, November 30, 2009. This month Dustin got the student of the month award. It was a surprise for him, so that is his pleased grin. I made some turkey cupcakes for the ladies that I visit teach and some for Alexis' preschool class. I thought they looked like turkeys, but my kids asked me what they were. The end of October. We had a little party with just us, my parents, and my sister Alice and her family. She chose chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, so I added a sprinkle 10. The end of October.

Monday, October 4, 2010. Sunday, we were sitting in church waiting for sacrament meeting to start when I heard " Eeeewwwww. From the pew behind me. I turned around and said "What? There it is. Notice the other bottom tooth moved over into the empty space. So, the other tooth hung on until Friday, when it was so loose that she wouldn't eat again. So, once again, Mike pushed it out. Here she is all cute and toothless. Alexis is so cute with those teeth missing! October 5, 2010 at 8:35 AM.

Thursday, August 6, 2009. A few summer happenings. There was a really nice breeze, and it blew the fireworks right over us. At the end of the show it rained ash on us. Monday, October 26, 2009. Emily got the first student of the month this year. Go Emily! Here is our PTA president giving it to her. Here she is closing her eyes against the morning sun. Next came Grandpa's wedding. Mike's dad got re-married. It was very dark in the church and my flash is missing (any body know where it's at? So I only took a couple of pictures in there. Here are the cousin's minus Savannah. I never did get a picture of her. Emily was a bridesmaid. Loved the spiral curls.
