Wednesday, June 1, 2011. So here are my pics at 3 years! These are the comparisons at day 1, year 1, year 2, and year 3. Thursday, May 19, 2011. So it's my 3 year lock anniversary and I decided to dye my hair! Well, kind of. I did an auburn rinse (not bold enough for permanent color). It's subtle but I like it. I will post pics soon. Locked Freedom
Dry locks no more! I figured it out! I was starting to get frustrated about the dryness thing. I tried product after product with the same end result. DRY LOCKS! I no longer hear my hair krunch. It feels soft and moisturized. It's so bad that I'm having a hard time keeping my hands out of my hair. Not much with hair growth. Seems like my hair is in some kind of holding pattern. It has been a long time since I have blogged. How does everyone find the time to update? Pics to come soon! How simple is that?

Tuesday, 28 April 2009. Check out the back of my hair! Day 5 and Day 71 (Wk 9). It looks thicker, the colour's lighter (Caribbean Sunshine) and I'm sure I've got some locks in there! Sunday, 26 April 2009. April Update: Week 9. This week I noticed just how thick my hair is getting. I was able to put my hair up in one just like I used to when it was all natural. A Journey of a Lifetime…. December 24, 2012. My last tightening was scheduled on my one year anniversary. I. Decided that twelve months with my relaxed ends was enough, so I had my consultant snip them off. The chop varied from two to four inches around my head. It was quite a noticeable chop. Beforehand many naysayers shouted, complained and questioned my reasoning. The same was true afterwards. Many folks. What am I doing differently? Filed under Maintaining Sisterlocks.
