The Senior Girls Jaguars capped off a 10-5 season by claiming the consolatuion championship at the Eastern Ontario Regional playdowns Wedenesday and Thursday. St. Joe's defeated Rideau 30-19 to claim the bronze medal honours for the tournament.

Jaguars Fall 32-19 to Raiders. The UOVHSAA playoff season came to an end for the Junior Girls Jaguars as they dropped a 32-19 decision to the RCI Raiders Monday afternoon in quarter-final action. Natalie Walters scored 8 points on the afternoon, with Sarah Ennett picking up 6, and Jessica Mahusky 4, to lead the Jaguars in scoring. Information will be made available as soon as it's received.

Another Win For Junior Girls. Last night the junior girls basketball chalked up another big win in Pembroke. The Jagettes pulled of the 23-4 victory with tough defense and timely scoring. Melissa Verch scored 10 points, Rebecca MacLaren had 7 and Abby Freemark had 4. Great game girls.

Lady Jags Open Season With Win. The Junior Jaguar basketball team travelled to General Panet last night for their first season game. Their defense kept Panet in check all night and they cruised to a solid victory 28-24. Everyone contributed in the win and the high scorers were Melissa Verch, Leanne Lecompte, Alanna Moss and Rebecca MacLaren. Great season opener ladies. Practice tonight at 3:20 sharp.

Jaguars Take Weekend Tournament. The Junior Girls Jaguar team travelled over to RCI for a preseason tournament on Saturday. In the final contest, against St. Thomas of Russell, the girls found themselves in another close game, this ti9me winning on a foul shot by Rebecca MacLaren, 36-34. This second win was enough for the girls to be crowned tournament champs.

EOSSAA Scheduled For Next Thursday. The St. Joseph's Junior Girls' Basketball team will represent UOVHSAA A Division schools in the EOSSAA tournament to be held next Thursday in Deep River Ontario. The Jaguars earned the honour by advancing farther than all other A Division schools in the county. They will be organized into a competative pool that is determined by statistical information forwarded to EOSSAA by all teams representing their respective leagues.

SJCHS Senior Athletic Program. Senior Girls Drop Decision To Arnprior. The Senior Girls Basketball. Team put up a strong effort in their game against ADHS last evening. The Jaguars led at half 15-12 due to an aggresive defense and pressure on the ball; however, a strong second half by the visiting side turned the tide in favour of the Redmen. For a 43-19 outcome. Natalie Walters led the Jaguars attack with 5 points. Practice tomorrow morning at 7am in preparation for our game against RCI.
