Living Well With Sjogren's Syndrome. Friday, August 14, 2015. We Went to the Mountain. Winter image of Timberline Lodge found here. From Sea to Summit Tours. Yesterday was yet another of those heartbreakingly gorgeous late summer days. And how fortunate since Terese, her sister Fran, and I headed up to Mount Hood. I love that mountain. Just love it. I took a million pictures of basically the same thing - but I can't resist clicking away madly when looking at such a spectacular triumph of nature. This lit...

Reasonably Well: Good Advice
http://www.reasonablywell.net/2015/08/good-advice.html
Living Well With Sjogren's Syndrome. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Sometimes the universe or God or whatever intervenes just at the moment that one needs it most. For example. Yesterday I was having a real doozy of a pity party. I hurt. Everywhere. I was tired. Yet again. I just couldn't seem to get my dumb stupid leg brace adjusted correctly. So I grumped myself over to my laptop and idly scrolled through Pinterest while thinking, Why me? Posted by Julia Oleinik. Ha Ha, Julia this really made me laugh!

Reasonably Well: Persistence
http://www.reasonablywell.net/2015/08/persistence.html
Living Well With Sjogren's Syndrome. Saturday, August 15, 2015. I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED. So the tech that fitted my brace told me "Offloading knee braces can be really tricky to make them fit.". My friend Kathleen, who is an RN who works in a joint replacement hospital unit, told me "I only know of ONE person that likes that kind of brace.". My surgeon said, "Yeah, they have to be positioned exactly right on the joint to work.". Did y'all notice how I snuck the work surgeon. In the first few sentences?

Reasonably Well: Pass it on.
http://www.reasonablywell.net/2015/08/pass-it-on.html
Living Well With Sjogren's Syndrome. Friday, August 7, 2015. Deeeeeeelicious sweet tea lemonade image found on Starbucks page. Want to hear yet another of my rather sappy "Ain't Life Grand? Of course you do. So I'm getting some dental work done lately. After my dentist put a temporary bridge in, he gave me a card and instructed me to visit the lab that would be making my permanent one. He wanted the technician over there to check the color so that my bridge would match my other teeth. I asked in disbelief.
