Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Reflux - or Bust! He can’t sleep. Especially for a newborn who needs up to 16 hours of sleep a day. He always gets the hiccups. I try to burp him, and usually I’m unsuccessful. Usually he gets the hiccups whether or not I burp him. And let me tell you, I have studied up on burping. You should see all the crazy ways I try to burp him. I’d call myself a burp expert except that I can’t get him to burp! Pulling away at feedings. Thursday, August 26, 2010. Must Have Newborn Items.

Thursday, January 3, 2008. Seattle Trip in August. We visited family in Yakima, and friends in Seattle. We hiked on Mt. Ranier, stayed in cabins in the mountains and picked wild huckelberries. These are some of our favorite people and places in Ireland. One is us at the beach on our surf weekend (notice not much surfing is being done). The other is Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. We had a great time with our neices up at Mille Lacs. Lots of sledding was had (without injuries). Seattle Trip in August.
