An exercise in vulnerability. February 24, 2016. Sorry that I’ve taken a little hiatus from sharing poetry with you. January 17, 2016. I wanted to share a new poem this week. Really, I did. and then I just couldn’t do it. Everything I wrote sucked, walked out of my pen heading straight for the trash. You know how that happens sometimes? But I am going to keep hacking away at those poems, trying to figure out what they will become and how they can somehow be beautiful.
