A Gastronomic Experience With Global Food. August 10, 2013. Originally posted on from the Bartolini kitchens. As promised, today we’ll look at the 5th cheese within our little series. Of those we’ve covered thus far, today’s cheese is the most complicated to make and, if that’s not enough, it’s also brined. All of this can add up to problems for the unaware — but that’s…. You can use whatever veg you fancy or you have in the fridge. Broad beans, asparagus, broccoli. 1 banana shallot or a few small shallots, diced. 2 carrots, peeled and chopped into chunky slices. 1 stick of celery, sliced. 100g orzo or risoni pasta.

A Gastronomic Experience With Global Food. August 1, 2015. Autumnal Provençal Root Medley. Where the blueboots go. I’ve now made this fan-favorite of BlueBoots kitchen a few times and it’s a recipe to stick to. It’s a fantastic take on regular breakfast potatoes because it’s so much more, and adds something really special to the brunch food repertoire! It holds a medley of comforting savory and sweet flavors and the simple seasonings highlight the natural tastes of the star ingredients. Pesarattu (Moong ...

A Gastronomic Experience With Global Food. August 1, 2015. My relationship with Chinese cuisine has been one I’ve taken for granted. Our Australian-born Chinese mum was a passionate and naturally superb cook. We grew up with whatever style of food Mum decided was her latest obsession and Chinese food was just one of many cuisines that had just always been a part of my life. Until I left home, it wasn’t ‘Chinese’ food to me. It was just food. Pesarattu (Moong Dal Dosa) ». Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Crème...

Right turn at dream street. Navigating my way from management consultant to mature age art student. The 2nd last hurdle…. A few days ago I uploaded my portfolio to the School of Art website, wavered for a bit, then hit the submit button. This is the second last hurdle I need to jump to get accepted into the Bachelor of Visual Arts degree. I’d had a practice portfolio review at the Open Day back in August. The answer I suspect is probably not a lot! But hey, that’s why I want to go to Art School. Portrait...

Go to exhibitions – lots of them and record your thoughts about them (phew, went to one just the day b...
