Saturday, September 7, 2013. Red and Blue Christmas. I ordered new paper JUST so I could use it with red in my Christmas projects this year. I am loving this combination! The papers are Pool Party and Real Red from Stampin' Up and the ink is the newest (and I think best) addition to the grey family also from Stampin' Up. I love how these colors look together! Sunday, January 5, 2014. Just a couple of thank you cards I made at our craft night! Friday, January 3, 2014. Yes, it must be Christmas break since I'm crafting, right? But I also got lots done on my certification, and in 6 more months it will be done for better or for worse (or at least until November if I don't pass.) I actually really did feel guilty crafting when I probably could have been studying, but I told myself to get over it! You'd never guess the second layer of the poinsettia is bright pink.

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. First day of summer crafting! I just received this stamp set from Stampin' Up. And I LOVE IT! Many, many uses to come. I started by stamping the leaves on the card in garden green, then stamped them on watercolor paper and watercolored them with pistachio pudding and did the flower in crisp cantaloupe. I fussy cut those and rounded the leaves with my leaf tool for some texture. I glued them down with Zots so the edges would pop up just a little. Love this set! The Shabby Tea Room.

Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Trees, Trees, and Trees. Some of my favorite stamps are trees, and since I still needed more thank-you cards, I grabbed some of my favorite trees to stamp. For this card, I stamped the background trees in Smoky Slate and embossed one in white to stand out next to the sentiment. Friday, April 4, 2014. So it all started like this. I submitted my portfolios for National Boards today! I had plans in my mind to submit them and use the rest of the day for test prep.yeah, you probably know how that went! I feel so burned out on it! So I told myself to take the afternoon off! I have sooo been dying to craft. Huge Craft Room Mess From Months of Neglect and Some Purchases That Have Not Even Been Used Yet. Plan #1 Clean UP! That's when this little miss came along.
