Stomps in the Hills. Able Tasman National Park - New Year 2005. After abandoning Pioneer Hut, we ended up for a couple of days in Motueka near Nelson (very hippy). On the last day caught a ferry from Marahau up to Onetahuti and stomped our way back along the coast track. This is normally done over two days. The beer was oh so cold. Theresa crossing a river outlet as the tide comes in. It got a lot deeper! Another river but this one had a swing bridge. Kinder Scout - Jan 2006. Pic St-Loup - June 2007.

Able Tasman National Park - New Zealand - Jan 2005. Something completely different after escaping from the mountains. Company in the water, dolphins completely ignoring us. West Coast, New Zealand Xmas 2004. Xmas 2004 we did a trip to Pioneer Hut on the West Coast of New Zealnd where not very much was achived. We had to wait 3 days in Fox township for the weather to clear before flying in for 9 days climbing most of which were occupied by torential rain. In New Zealnd we call the West Coast "the wet coast". However when it's nice - it's magic! I'd spent 3 weeks there in the late 80's and wanted Theresa to share the experiance.
