From a trail called 'Life'. Tales from the trails and far beyond: a photoblog from Alaska. Monday, May 2, 2011. Air raid: Bomber Traverse in an 11-hour epic. I had initially planned a little Valley adventure to the north with some skate skiing and road biking, but when I woke up Saturday morning I had a text on my phone from Jack about slamming the Bomber Traverse in one go on Sunday. That was all I needed to see. There are many variations of the traverse, Jack printed out the above map of our route, whi...

http://atrailcalledlife.blogspot.com/2010/10/call.html
From a trail called 'Life'. Tales from the trails and far beyond: a photoblog from Alaska. Thursday, October 14, 2010. It’s 6 pm, the sun is falling behind the snow covered mountains, a bitter northwind is freezing my thinly covered arms, and I still can’t see the crest of this climb. It’s early October, I’m trying to make it to the high point of a moraine south of Lost Lake. I knew when I set off on this ride it was going to be rough, and now, I just want it to be over. Eventually I arrive at the lake&#...

Dylan Crossman's Blog: January 2012
http://dylancrossman.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 15, 2012. It's been a long time since I made an effort to write in my Blog. It was just a few months of traveling and being just a bit too tired at night and too busy when the sun was up to sit at the computer. Then there was a bomb that hit close to home. There was destruction all around. My heart was hurting, my friends and family were hurting too. The blast took something from all of us. Someone that means so much. Human Flesh, blood, and bone. Relatos de una experiencia en el Ecuador. I will miss them. Southbound (but not for long). Ceramic tile map with the city in the background. With Lindsay and shop for Panama hats. Cuenca's architecture is unique to that of other cities in the country: It has impressive churches, in-tact colonial remnants, red tiled roofs, and water throughout (in the form of fountains and rivers). One of several famous vendors of the Panama hat (which is, in reality, of Ecuadorian origin). Merry, Tonya, and Chandra.
