http://daysofthepolkadotgirl.blogspot.com/2010/09/john-frieda-root-awakening-shampoo.html
Days Of The Polkadot Girl. Wednesday, 15 September 2010. John Frieda Root Awakening Shampoo and Conditioner. I bought this new range of shampoo and conditioner from John Frieda as I have been variably impressed by the rest of the John Frieda stable (Well, I didn't try the Blonde range obviously! And I'm always searching for the new next big thing! I'm a bit of a hair slut to be honest, I rarely repurchase the same products twice in a row. The only downside of this product is the price. I think that t...

Days Of The Polkadot Girl: 'She makes my heart beat in the same way as in the start of Blue Monday'
http://daysofthepolkadotgirl.blogspot.com/2010/10/she-makes-my-heart-beat-in-same-way-as.html
Days Of The Polkadot Girl. Sunday, 3 October 2010. She makes my heart beat in the same way as in the start of Blue Monday'. So, on Friday I saw Neil Hannon AKA The Divine Comedy in the Ardhowen Theatre in Enniskillen and I have to say, it was the best concert I have ever been to. You can keep your Oxegens and your Aviva Stadiums (can't believe that name is actually sticking.), I far prefer one little whimsical man in a bowler hat and a briefcase, just on a piano not but 2 metres away from me. Lads, it wa...

Saturday, April 5, 2014. My Current Top 5 Products: You Gotta Try These! So my top 5 favourite products change all the time, that's part and parcel of being a makeup artist. We are product junkies and we can be very fickle! But at the moment, there are a few go to products that I use both on myself and recommend to clients, both for face and body, and I am loving them. So, in no particular order, here they are. 1 Gimme Brow by Benefit. 2 Big Fatty Mascara by Urban Decay. 3 Cocowel Coconut Oil. Coconut Oi...

Pout Makeup Artistry: June 2012

Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Review- YSL Teint Touche Eclat. But I acted in haste. This foundation is gorgeous. It is lightweight on application, feels lovely on the skin, and gievs a fantastic finish. I was very pleasantly surprised. In terms of coverage, 2 layers gave me the coverage I need, which is excellent, as it can take 3 or 4 with other foundations! I did add a very light layer of translucent powder over this, because I love a matte finish and it took the powder very well. And the close up.

Pout Makeup Artistry: February 2012

Monday, February 27, 2012. Face Fails: Oscars 2012. We all love a good red carpet, right? But we love nothing more than criticising the people on it. Like we are experts. Which we are. Kind of. Yes, well, there were many looks that didn't work for one reason or another, here are just a few. Miley Cyrus. You are 19. Get over yourself. Then, there was Claire Danes. The complexion could have been better, I liked the lip colour. But the eyes? Love the Look: Oscars 2012. There are very definite winners. T...

Pout Makeup Artistry: August 2012
http://poutcork.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Review- Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation. I cannot tell you how excited I am about Naked Skin. Urban Decay discontinued their Surreal Skin liquid some time ago and the range has been without liquid foundation since. But Naked Skin has been worth waiting for. Described as weightless, ultra definition makeup I could not wait to get my hands on this. Have a look at my (mortifying) before picture, and my after shot. Review- Catrice Prime and Fine. Primers and Finishing Touches.

Days Of The Polkadot Girl: Post Break-Up Makeover - Kelly Shows Us How To Do It
http://daysofthepolkadotgirl.blogspot.com/2010/09/post-break-up-makeover-kelly-shows-us.html
Days Of The Polkadot Girl. Thursday, 16 September 2010. Post Break-Up Makeover - Kelly Shows Us How To Do It. Think of Kelly Osbourne and you probably think of that stroppy teenager, screaming at Ozzy whilst tripping over Sharon's hundreds of little yappy dogs. Looking something like this, no? Well, No. Since breaking up with that lying cheating scumbag. Kelly has been looking haaawt. No weeping and wailing of 'Ben and Jerry are the only men who will ever love me! The Stars'.) all. Help Still, Fair Play!

A Few Too Many Shoes. Laquo; A Few Bits n’ Bobs…. The video for Hearts was released two weeks ago and I’ve had it on repeat ever since. Taken from Mmoths debut EP of the same name and featuring Keep Shelley in Athens, it is already one of my favourite tracks of 2012. It would appear that Mmoths is only going to go on to bigger and better things! Check out the video, directed by Jamie Delaney. A Few Too Many Shoes. Don’t Smoke My Blunt Bitch. By now, I’m sure most people are aware of Coca-Cola. 8216;s ‘Move to the Beat’ campaign in some shape or form. The campaign focuses on combining Coca-Cola fans love of sport and music by fusing the two in an unusual fashion. Five young Olympic Games hopefuls have provided the sounds of their respective sports to Mark Ronson. Who, along with vocals from Katy B. Has created the song ‘Anywhere in the World’.
