Married Not Buried: Progress
http://marriednotburied.blogspot.com/2010/05/progress.html
Life after marriage as I know it. I want to say I'm over it, but I'm not. I am, however, better than I was. That's progress, right? I don't want to crawl in to a hole and hide from the world. I'm not as numb and I'm a little less disconnected. I can laugh and feel it now. Some updates on my life:. Amazing what some green grass can do. We are also not the hottest house on the block anymore. We installed central air and upgraded the central heat. Now we can actually survive the summer with some lev...Lil M...

Life after marriage as I know it. He is gone, but not forgotten. I'm sitting here in my room, working on my friend's baby shower, and watching/listening to some of Michael Jackson's videos and songs. You can turn on just about any entertainment channel or radio station and find some tribute to MJ. It is quite the trip down memory lane. I'll sing along and think back on my own faux leather Bad jacket with all the zippers on it (so what if mine was purple and not red! Brought to you by R. Wednesday morning...

Married Not Buried: December 2008
http://marriednotburied.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Life after marriage as I know it. I can't believe it's been a week since Christmas. Craziness. We had a very nice Christmas considering how tough things are for us and our family financially. For some reason I expected a lot more of the joy to be sucked out of the holiday and have it replaced with worry. Thankfully I was all wrong. You see, Christmas day has almost always been spent with my Dad for as long as I can remember since my parents were never together. Thanksgiving at my Mom's and Christmas ...

Married Not Buried: New
http://marriednotburied.blogspot.com/2011/01/new.html
Life after marriage as I know it. Hot damn I missed this place! I haven't blogged in months and I haven't read anything other people have blogged in almost as long. What the hell? I feel like I stopped being me a little bit. No bueno. I know my blogging buddies have moved on and I missed out on a lot of things. *sigh* 2010 sure did kick my ass. Can't promise I'll do better about writing, but I'm here right now and it sure as hell feels good. We wrapped the year up nicely with a pretty quiet Christmas at ...

Married Not Buried: February 2010
http://marriednotburied.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Life after marriage as I know it. How do you start writing something like this? It is difficult for me to know the best way to express what has happened and how I feel about it. I guess "broken" is the most simple way right now. On January 26 th. And I met at the doctor's office for our (almost) 20 week ultrasound. This was the big one. The one where we hoped to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. The night before Hubbs. Instead we found out on January 26 th. The next few days were a whirlwind of...

Life after marriage as I know it. Guess who is 98% done with their Christmas shopping? I am so very sad that I can not participate in all the fantastic sales that'll be happening this holiday season. Black Friday and Cyber Monday will be off my radar this year. I never really get in to Black Friday, but I'd hoped that this year I could partake. Doomsday. Brought to you by R. It was very exciting and Lil Man made a pretty good tackle during the game. So fun! We rushed home to go to a birthday party back a...

Life after marriage as I know it. Hubbs has stepped up in to the next level of sales for what he does and will be handling larger accounts across the US. The new job will start tomorrow and, although he is nervous about something new, I know he'll do great. I'm very proud of him for reaching out to take advantage of an opportunity like this and I hope it works out for him. Brought to you by R. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
