Friday, November 23, 2012. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We had a fun day, just the 4 of us, cooking and eating. Everything turned out delicious and pretty, even without our fancy table things (didn't want to unpack them since we're moving soon). It was a great day just being together! And I really need to take more photos of life . . . . Hope it tasted as good as it looked! November 23, 2012 at 7:02 PM. That was a fine example of my Latin skills:). November 27, 2012 at 9:01 AM. Monday, March 7, 2011. Phew, that was close. I had a birthday! No need to discuss numbers. It was a quiet affair, just how I like it when the numbers are, you know, where they are these days. Dinner and presents. Unbeknownst to me, Paul had gotten me something I've wanted forever. The look on my face when I opened the box and discovered a Blendtec in there! Total surprise. I love that guy. And I LOVE my Blentec! I use it at least twice a day. Yum, yum, yumminess. Here's how the kids felt about it.

The Kloepfer Family: January 2011
http://kloepfersblog.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 24, 2011. Reporting in from SoCal. So, we were lucky to get a visit from my awesome sister, Jo Ann (a.k.a. Jo Jo) and Layne this weekend. Love these people! Since she forgot her camera back in the frozen Utah tundra, I told her I'd blog some photos. Motivation! We met at an undisclosed location and scooped up Jo while Layne went to do, you know, Layne stuff. Since it was sunny and 70, it was straight to the beach! And Max's fencing lesson. Did I mention we have a cushy guest bed now?

Friday, May 17, 2013. So the other night I was doing dishes while Max was diligently working on a writing assignment for English. Out of the blue, this is what he said:. I don't know why, Mom, but when I hear my voice inside my head while I'm writing, it sounds like the voice of a British woman.". There are no words. This little man keeps me laughing through life. Maybe one of these will show up around Jo Jo's house sometime? And then there's this guy, who had a birthday recently. In other news, PK and I...

Sunday, October 24, 2010. We have entered an new realm of sporting, which is a totally new concept for our family. Max and Lily have never been much into the traditional sports, but have now found "their" sports! Lily joined the Ladera Liquids swim team this fall, and has practice 3 to 4 times a week. She's always been so comfortable in the water and now she gets to do it all the time! It's the cutest thing ever. Yesterday was her first swim meet. Such a new experience for us! All ready for her events:.

Sunday, March 25, 2012. A "model" of health. So, hi again, by the way. A couple weeks ago, Paul and I got our blood tests done, just being proactive about our health, you know. Actually, his company offered a special $50 gift card if we did it, so that's the real reason. Anyway, yesterday we got the results in the mail in these nice brochures from Aetna, our health insurance company. I instantly thought there was some super scary result on his health summary and said, "What? A pause for effect].
