During 2006, Richard Atterton, a trustee of this trust fund and the Director of UK Operations of Compassion International, spent several months in correspondence with the Charity Commission, in an unsuccessful attempt to negotiate, by amendment of the objects, the issue of a registered charity number. The decision was taken to abandon the attempt. This trust fund therefore does not solicit donations from the general public.
