How to Read Your Bill. South Louisiana Electric Cooperative Association currently mails bills monthly on one of three different dates. Your billing date is determined by where you live on SLECA’s system. When you apply for service, you will be informed when you should receive your bill each month. Your electric usage is measured by a watthour meter. SLECA has personnel to read all meters every month unless special member instructions or circumstances prevent us from doing so.
