Thursday, September 8, 2011. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary August 11th! Crazy to think we have been married 10 years, met 15 years ago, and now have three children. We are blessed and I am thankful beyond words for a man who loves me so well and is the most incredible dad to our children. We are doing our big trip in a couple months and counting the days. Sluder kids (and mom). Saturday, October 27, 2012. Disclaimer- This post was started in the hospital while waiting for her to be discharged and now I have finally gotten around to publishing it*. My sister is awesome! She is recovering from surgery and doing very well. You can read her story on her blog here. August 6, 2013. Camping with the Schartners 2013. Our annual camping trip with the Schartners is one of the highlights of the summer for us. There's something wonderful about camping with a family so similar to ours. The kids each have a playmate, the outdoors provides hours of entertainment, and the parents get to sit back and visit with friends that can relate to each other's lives so well. I don't even remember what he was talking about but he wanted to give something away, "Mommy we could give it to Chase, you know the Chase that lives in Lego Land." So Chase lives in San Diego but Holt just associates it with Lego Land. Pierce and Holt both told us Barney got arrested. When we asked why they said, "Barney was blowing cigarettes." What? Ava never ceases to amaze us with her cute little humor, sweet little gestures, and LOVE for such silly things. Here are a few of our favorite "Ava isms":. 1 Nearly every morning the first few words out of her mouth is " Sower" Or shower! We have resorted to spelling it because when she hears the word, she bolts to the bathroom and will get in clothes on or clothes off!
