David Kenison & Family: April 2009
http://davidkenison.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
David Kenison and Family. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. It was fun to celebrate Bonnie's birthday today. It was "celebrate with meals day" — I fixed stuffed strawberry french toast for breakfast-in-bed, then we went out for a sandwich at Kneader's for lunch, and enjoyed an evening dinner with Sarah and Brian at Goodwood in the evening. We did miss Matt today; he always added excitement to our celebrations. But we're grateful to have Brian to "fill in" for him! I love you, Bonnie! Posted by David Kenison.

David Kenison and Family. Sunday, May 27, 2012. The Story of a Family Vacation - Europe 2012. Family vacations were an important part of my childhood. We had a few traditions that grew over the years, and created many happy memories for us. As my four sisters and I grew older and started to go our separate ways they naturally stopped; we went on to create our own memories and traditions with our new families. David Kenison & Family: July 2009
http://davidkenison.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
David Kenison and Family. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. A few days ago, I talked about my joy in enjoying fresh Utah peas, tomatoes, and peaches. Today, the third part of that succulent triad was realized as I purchased the first box of early peaches. They are called "early red haven" and are "cling" variety (as opposed to "freestone"). They are quite juicy but not as flavorful as later varieties. But when you've been on a 9-month famine, any. Fresh peach is a wonderful. Posted by David Kenison. Today was Pi...

David Kenison & Family: May 2009
http://davidkenison.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
David Kenison and Family. Thursday, May 28, 2009. I've had some strange urges lately. Ever since we got a new cookie jar for Bonnie for Mother's Day, I've wanted to put cookies in it! So I've had a few baking experiments this past week, when I can squeeze a few minutes free. I'm not even close to becoming a Fuji Mama. But I have fun doing stuff like this. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Zest of two lemons. 3 tablespoons golden syrup. 1 teaspoon ground ginger. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 cup fresh lime juice.

David Kenison and Family. Saturday, February 28, 2009. I like working with the scouts when I can. Scouting meant a lot to me when I was a boy, and I believe in the principles and goals and methods. But lately, I don't have much direct interaction with scouting activities. Our stake hosts a "merit badge PowWow" each spring, and I had the privilege of teaching a Photography.
