A Glimpse Inside

I feel like all I ever post is random topic posts. Oh well here’s another. 8221; And that was it… Anyway score one for meeting goals. 2) Did you know zombies are in the bible? I bet more folks would read if they knew that. I’m serious – Elijah asks God to breath on dry bones and people sprout up. I’m betting that wasn’t pretty. Not that they were eating brains but the weird part of me found that interesting. 5) Part of my closet – the part that holds some hangers died on Monday. Although we had...8) We b...

Halloweeeeniieee!!!! | A Glimpse Inside
https://kisetta.wordpress.com/2012/10/31/halloweeeeniieee
Yay its Halloween🙂 I know that may seem like a strange phrase coming from a Christian but its true. I love Halloween – it used to be my favorite holiday and I think now its my second favorite. I know, I know I’m supposed to think its evil and forswear all dealings with it. Devils holiday right? However, I grew up with fond memories of all the major holidays. We did the tooth fairy (oh no! The easter bunny (egads! Halloween and even (shock! Haven’t we got bigger things to worry about?

Inadequacy | A Glimpse Inside
https://kisetta.wordpress.com/2013/04/02/inadequacy
My kids are both happy at the same time so I’m going to use this rare moment to blog. The past few weeks have been rough. The stomach bug attacked us all with a vengeance and of course decided to do it the evening my inlaws were staying with us on the night before my father in law was due to head off to India on a missions trip. Do you know how impossible it is to keep a puking toddler quiet? There were a couple of bright spots. 1) I got a shiny new steam cleaner. 2) I lost a few pounds. On April 2, 2013...

This year I resolve to… | A Glimpse Inside
https://kisetta.wordpress.com/2012/12/30/this-year-i-resolve-to
This year I resolve to…. I don’t generally make new years resolution – probably because I always make stupid ones. But this year I’m trying some realistic ones. Let’s see. 1) Learn to crochet – making tie blankets while fun is expensive and it seems I could help a lot more people if I had this useful skill. 2) Learn to wrap – I suck at wrapping. I want to get better. I’m not sure how but I figure I can at the very least make a pinterest board devoted to that haha. In the Hands of the Potter.

偶感 (Random Thoughts) | A Glimpse Inside
https://kisetta.wordpress.com/2013/01/15/偶感-random-thoughts
1) I never realize until I take a break from facebook how much of my life I post on there. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve gone to update my status about some silly thing and realized I’m not doing that for a few weeks. Weird. 3) My daughter is smart. She can pull the little handle on her bouncy seat and start music playing whenever she is bored. She just did that when I tried to tell her about Germany. Maybe it is boring and I shouldn’t blog about it haha. 7) Anna is going through this bizarre...

I found time to blog! | A Glimpse Inside
https://kisetta.wordpress.com/2013/01/17/i-found-time-to-blog
I found time to blog! I love Celtic music. Its just so calming. I don’t know if it speaks to the part of me that is Irish or what. I suppose it reminds me of living in Germany – just the foreign feel of it – it reminds me of how much bigger the world is. That and I so wish I had the crazy soprano voice it takes to sing some of it. Anyway I’ve spent far too much time writing this – gotta go play with the Budge before Anna wakes up from her second nap. Good enough? | A Glimpse Inside
https://kisetta.wordpress.com/2014/04/03/good-enough
Was I just not listening hard enough? I mean He could have clued me in. He could have made me so busy I forgot. He could have I don’t know sent a dog to devour the mailbox. Something. But He didn’t. And He didn’t let her keep the twins either. Not even one. And that makes me beyond angry. Because He’s so much bigger than that. At least I thought so. I have no idea why God allows it. I know he wants free will. I know he wants us to choose him. But what does that have to do with babies dying?
