Qantas will soon join Singapore Airlines and start charging passengers reserving for the exit rows in Y cabin on its international flights starting next month. The charge will be A$80 ($62) to A$160 per ticket depending on the length of flight. This is to mainly offset the decrease in business travel and help bring in the much needed extra revenue.
