Any Hole-in-One Club member making a hole-in-one during a weekly SMGA tournament, SMGA interclub tournament at home or away, SMGA Match Play Tournament or SMGA Championship Tournament will be awarded all dues collected. Should multiple hole-in-ones occur on the same day, the award will be shared equally by the players scoring a hole-in-one. See Appendix C of our Bylaws. Members that meet the following criteria are eligible to be placed on the Forward Tee List if they so desire. If a player meets the age and handicap requirements and desires to be placed on the Forward Tees List, he must notify the Tournament Director. Once on the Forward Tees List he must play all SMGA events using the selected Forward Tees.

Are You Signed Up? Executive Summary of the SMGA Local Rules. The SMGA local rules can be summarized as follows:. We have a drop area on hole 24. We have an optional Forward Tees for members that qualify by age and handicap. If you are age 72 see the Bylaws link below for complete details. We also have the normal local rules to permit distance measuring devices, remove stones from bunkers, relief from fire ant mounds, exposed bunker liners, maintenance fans, etc.

Are You Signed Up? History of the Senior Men’s Golf Association (SMGA). In the early years, we paid low gross and low net. We had one member who won low gross every week so after a couple years, we changed to net only. All tournaments were paid in cash, not pro shop book. The original by-laws were written by John Kinney in 1994, revised by Dave Mehall and others in 2006, by Don Holec and Jerry Obenour in 2009, and Michael Bulkeley in 2014. History of SMGA Officers.

Are You Signed Up? The Tin Cup - 2013. Started in 2009, Stonebridge Ranch and Eldorado compete in an annual Ryder Cup type tournament. The winning club takes possession of the Tin Cup Trophy until the next year’s tournament. For 2013, Eldorado defeated Stonebridge by a score of 13 to 11. For 2012, Eldorado defeated Stonebridge by a score of 13 to 11. For 2011, Eldorado defeated Stonebridge by a score of 13 to 11. For 2010, Eldorado defeated Stonebridge by a score of 13 to 10 .
