The Therapeutic Recreation Department provides interventions and activities to enhance our Resident's quality of life. Recreation services through both individual and group programs will allow residents to realize their potential for utilizing their abilities and for meeting individual needs and goals. The dedicated team of care professionals at Sauer Health Care aim to make each persons stay home-like and individualized. Through our services and amenities we work towards our mission. Our specially trained rehab aides work with Residents to maintain the physical abilities to stand, walk and transfer. Religious services are scheduled weekly through the volunteer work of our local churches. Chapel, communion, rosary and bible study occurs weekly or monthly. Social Services is responsible for working closely with other health team members to assist residents in maintaining or improving their ability to manage their everyday physical,. Emotional, financial, and psychosocial needs. A licensed social worker and social service staff assists residents and their family members/resident representatives with all aspects of the long-term care, transition, and lifestyle. Nursing Department

Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants at Sauer Health Care work as a team to provide quality care. Trained staff members assist with personal and daily activities such as dressing, bathing, transferring and eating. We are able to provide individualized care for those with complex medical concerns.
