Friday, November 20, 2009. I'm proud to announce that White Mountain Llamas has purchased five new Angora rabbits (three bucks and two does) to use for breeding. Two brothers were purchased with similar genetics to our past litters - a chocolate and a chocolate agouti. Their names are Espresso. And Apollo respectively. They are from Woolly Friends Angoras. We originally got Apollo for fiber and Espresso. She was born on July 1 of this year. Vanilla came from Acres Acres Angoras. See how big Ivy is! Seen ...

What we need to do, collectively as rabbit breeders and enthusiasts, is to educate the public regarding PROPER rabbit care, and to educate our local law enforcement as to Constitutional Law. Yes, it is a challenge, but the alternative is to give up our hobby/livelihood. This makes me very sad to ...

Jan's Giants: December 2012
http://jansgiants.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Musings about Giant and German Angora rabbits, fiber, and friends. Monday, December 10, 2012. The so-called 'humane' diet (vegan). I've seen a lot of articles, posts, and responses all over the internet regarding veganism and how 'humane' it is. Because veganism does not kill, harm, or exploit animals (so they say), it is the 'humane' way of life. Then why aren't more farmers vegan? Ever think of that as you munched on your watercress, brown rice and tofu? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Jan's Giants: My response to Amy
http://jansgiants.blogspot.com/2012/07/my-response-to-amy.html
Musings about Giant and German Angora rabbits, fiber, and friends. Thursday, July 05, 2012. My response to Amy. Definitely vote for Julie and Lauren if this kind of backstabbing is what you want in your club officers. I will not discuss what went on in the BOD, because it is supposed to be a private list, and while I feel sometimes there are reasons for sharing its discussions, my fellow officers disagree, and I will honor their feelings.
