Docents for The Way We Worked are tour guides who conduct lead observation-based and inquiry-led tours. No formal training or experience is required to become a docent forthe exhibit. Enthusiasm and commitment are the main qualifications needed. We also need volunteers to greet people, ask them to sign the guest book, and sell merchandise. The Way We Worked. Whether you are an individual or are part of a larger group looking for volunteer opportunities, you are greatly encouraged to contact Pat Underwood.

Admission to the Smithsonian Exhibition is free. But donations are gladly accepted. The Exhibits will be open to the public March 10 through April 21, 2012. Wednesdays through Fridays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Sundays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. School day trips and other groups of more than 20 individuals must. Schedule an appointment by calling Maryann at 931-967-1560. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress.
