Friday, 14 August 2015. Zentangles and Starry, Starry Nights. I am particularly proud of some of the recent art work in Room 7. The students have created their own van Gogh Starry Night painting. Their WALT ( We are learning to goal ) was to use a variety of brush strokes to achieve movement in the painting as Van Gogh had done. Tuesday, 4 August 2015. Term 3 and A New Beginning. It's the beginning of a new Term and also a chance to reactivate the Room 7 Blog. This Blog will be a record of all the interesting learning and activities we enjoy in Room 7 in Term 3. We began the Term with a Class Mass that included our buddy class,. Room 2. The Gospel reading told the parable of the sower which we acted out. With Room 2's help,we also planted bean seeds which Father blessed for us at the end of Mass. Term 3 and A New Beginning.

Friday, 14 August 2015. Our Feast Day and Grandparents' Day. We have enjoyed a great celebration today, the Feast of the Assumption and our School Feast Day as well as being Grandparents' Day. The day started with a School Mass and morning tea in the Parish Centre. There was an opportunity for the students to share their work and wall displays.
