The English-Chinese Bilingual Program is provincially approved by Alberta Education and is offered by the Edmonton Public School Board. Students study the provincially approved curriculum like students in an English-core program, except that instructional time comprises as close to 50% in Chinese as possible. Association meetings are held regularly every month September through June to create an opportunity for all member parents to get involved in the direction of the Chinese Bilingual Program and its future. In 2007, the ECBEA celebrated its 25th Anniversary with the appropriate slogan, TALK TO THE WORLD Through Mandarin Bilingual Education - 中英雙語天下行.
