I'm happy with the way they're coming along but there's still a ton of work to be done on them. Kinda neat, huh? Ugly faceting on the doorway curves, way too sharp corners on the columns and a ridiculously under-modeled lantern. Shutters and doors that look like ugly slabs of drywall. It happens, of course, but once MEL/Python class is over, it'll be time for me to really kick some arse on this thing. So, how's class going? Pretty well. This past week was my first introduction to Python, which is new to Maya as of version 8.5, I think. Python's another scripting language. According to Wikipedia, it's a high-level scripting language.
