Sunday, May 31, 2009. Below are some pictures of the sanded floorboards and brackets supporting the removable floorboards. The floorboards are 1/2" thick Western red cedar and the brackets are about 3/4" think. As I've mentioned before, I intend to modify the floorboard setup as well as remove the brackets. Saturday, July 25, 2009. So, I finally finished priming the interior. I just wanted to do one light-medium coat because the previous paint job was in pretty decent shape. You can still see a little green paint coming through, but a couple of coats of the topcoat and you'll never know what lies underneath. Next, I'll lightly sand with 220-grit paper and then began the final painting process. Completing the Primer Coat. 1 Putty any remaining voids and sand flush. 3 Vaccum out the boat for any new debris.

Saturday, July 24, 2010. So, more sanding today, just another round, and honestly I don't know how many more there will be. Everything that I have read has said that you can't sand too much and I'm beginning to agree. Today, I knocked out a little over half of the deck; I'm still playing around with about 30 plugs because I don't like the way they look or they keep popping out and whatnot. I'm still working on tightening down the deck in a couple of places, but all in all, things are progressing.

Today, I re-sanded the old plywood deck roughly with some 60-grit just to knock off any rough spots, stickum from the masking tape, and any paint that may have found its way onto it while painting the interior.
