Wednesday, January 15, 2014. A few weeks ago, we finally got around to redeeming Dusan's birthday gift to Skull Canyon Zipline Tours in Corona. Needless to say, the pictures do the talking. We had a blast. Im petrified of heights, but the staff was so encouraging and with a warm-up zipline beforehand, I felt completely at ease and handed my camera over to our trusty guides. A few practice runs first. On our way up the hill. A short hike to the top. Dusan and Avery coming in from behind. It's Me, KP.

Monday, February 3, 2014. Big Bear and bruises. Arriving hours after a snowfall, our weekend in Big Bear was filled with all things sledding, exploring, snowball fighting, and snowboarding. The weather was beautiful. This one blew us away with her determination to "get to the bottom of the run" with no help or encouragement even if it meant cutting off other boarders to get to the end quickest. Thursday, November 15, 2012. This was the year I had dreaded. Scary Halloween. The boys were determined to be blood and guts. At first I refused. No way. "I don't do scary" was my reasoning. Later that night I woke up at 2 am, (usually my finest hour). but on this particular night I came to a realization. How much longer will these two want. And with that, we were off to Party City the very next day to find the creepiest masks we could find. Underneath all that scary. Rosie the Riveter it was! It's Me, KP.

Friday, August 31, 2012. My monkey is 11. With the start of school this week, we celebrated Davin's birthday a little early. There' nothing he loves more, than to CLIMB so. an afternoon at the indoor rock gym with his closest friends was his request this year. For 2 hours, they all climbed to their heart's content. After it was back to the house for pizza and Yoda cake pops (thanks Ammie! It was a very fun last hoorah before summer ended. Thursday, August 30, 2012. When my baby smiles at me I go to RIO.
