Rochelle's Travels: Jesus Loves You: Part One
http://rochellewagnertravels.blogspot.com/2010/10/jesus-loves-you-part-one.html
Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Jesus Loves You: Part One. Religion in Ghana. A topic I have wanted to write about but was unsure how to approach without offending countless friends and family members. So instead of worrying about who I offend, I am writing a disclaimer: stop reading now if you get offended when atheists discuss religion. Which we all invariably do at one point or another). :-). My short life appeared to be based on lies. What about God? What was the meaning of life? I remember when I was arou...

Rochelle's Travels: 10 Impressions of Ghana in my first 10 days
http://rochellewagnertravels.blogspot.com/2010/08/10-impressions-of-ghana-in-my-first-10.html
Wednesday, August 18, 2010. 10 Impressions of Ghana in my first 10 days. First impressions are important. I have often found that my initial encounters in a country can be quite telling for the whole experience. Obviously the longer you live in a place the more you understand and appreciate it. With that being said, I now present my 10 Impressions (both good and bad) of Ghana in my first 10 days here. 1 Tempo of life. 3 “Third world”. One thing I've really enjoyed so far is the food! It doesn't really he...

March 5, 2008. First days of school. The first few days of school have been quite challenging, as the new class of 3 and 4 year old kids cry all day because they are away from their parents. As volunteers we would try to hold them, play with them, feed them and entertain them in all ways possible in an attempt to make them stop crying. After a week things supposedly get better. The photo gallery is updated with many photos from the last few days, so make sure you take a look! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

February 28, 2008. Check photo gallery for pictures from “Carnaval Huanchaquero” last weekend! Today I have been to Trujillo with two of the social workers at CEP to buy school material with money donations I have received from home. We bought more than 400 notebooks, 300 erasers, 150 pencils, 100 chalks, 100 markers, 100 pencilsharpeners and some other things. It will come in handy when school starts on monday. A little video with the kids on the swing:. Laquo; Corporacion Educacion Popular.

February 2, 2008. Wow, looking at my blog stats I see that people are actually reading this blog! Oh it appears that slang here is quite different from Argentina. I can not say “boludo” or “che”, which is sad, but instead I can say “brother” (with a very peruvian pronunciation), oye! Replaces the “che”, and very good is “buenazo”! I am really getting into spanish now, having gotten used to the accent I understand pretty much everything although I speak like a five year old. Haha! February 1, 2008. In two...

Monday, November 26, 2007. Hey, I just re-read my post and realized that I made a typo. I go to Barriletes a little over 10. Hours a week, not 30! And I also made many stupid spelling/grammar errors but I don´t care haha, this is my free year where I don´t worry about such things! Posted by Rochelle Brie Wagner. Wow, I completely forgot about my blog. For almost a month! I was very impressed! Today I went to Barriletes all morning and cleaned up the huge mess that was left after the party. It is so h...
