Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Today as you probably know is St. Patrick's Day. I have never really understood the tradition of wearing green so you don't get pinched. Even so, I still wear green mainly so I don't get pinched! In honor of the Irish, I wore a green blouse. I also ate green grapes for a snack, a pickle with my lunch, and thin mints for dessert. It was fun to hear their heart and see their willingness to proclaim Christ in their words and deeds. Friday, March 30, 2007. This weekend I was going to see my cousin and his wife (newlyweds) in Eugene this weekend but we got our weekends messed up. I was also going to see Andrea who is a good friend. Oh, well. sometimes life just doesn't work out the way you hoped. BUT I think I'll still have a good weekend. Monday, May 28, 2007. Most people will remember him as the husband of Ashley Judd which kind of cracks me up. The race began and then it was delayed due to rain. After they started back up, they raced for another 40 minutes and the rain began again and although the sum of laps did not occur it was an official race. Franchitti. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. Our office is moving across the river, so part of what I've been doing my first week of non-sabbatical life is helping get our office ready. Last week I painted some eaves and touched up some spots of paint and then cleaned some bathrooms and such. The highlight for me was getting lunch for all our workerbees that have been helping. Tuesday, February 03, 2009. The Denver Victorian Theater. As a gift, I got Doug tickets to go see Educating Rita which is a play. We had to forgo the original date 'cause I was coughing up a storm but we finally got to see it this weekend. Although it sounds very dry, the play was enjoyable.
