We started emailing each other to arrange for the trip since late August. Finally we settled for a 11 days ABC trek and 2 days each in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Seems that, Durga was also not meant to be our guide! Just the night before our bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara, he developed a fever and the doctor confirmed he had mumps…. So how? Annapurna II (I hope I am right). We just walked up steps after steps, it's so near yet so far. when are we reaching? Why it's like never-ending? Finally, finally. after about 45mins later we finally reached (but the 45mins seems more like 2 hours! The tip of Annapurna II catching the 1st ray of the sunrise. Labels: Annapurna Base Camp.

Snowzy and Monster @ Nepal. Thursday, November 11, 2010. Rest and Relax @ Pokhara. I had a nice long hot shower once back in the hotel. Washed away all the soil and all the tiredness. Now what we need was a soothing massage to calm our hardworking legs. We saw quite a number of massage cum hair salon along the streets. When we went into one to ask for the price, than we realised the masseuse was the barber himself. ok, skip! Finally, we settled for a 1 hour massage at a massage place located in a hotel.

Curry Vegetables with rice, Korean maggi mee. Spaghetti and spring roll. The early morning @ Chhomrong. It's also getting colder now. Dobhan is in the thick of the forest with waterfall nearby so you feel the chill especially come night fall. P/S: one interesting event of the day was to witness the saga of a lost baby goat. B...

Total time: almost 6 hrs. Gurung bread with cheese and Rosti with fried eggs. Mixed vegetables fried rice and Mushroom, onion and garlic soup. Tomato soup and Mushrooms pizza. Well, he was so eager, ok then. I just walk slowly, sip more water. Sun ray - taken from Hinko Cave. When we reached Deurali, it was only about 10:30am!

Tuna sandwiches and fried potatoes with cheese. Spring roll and maggi mee. Mushroom soup, Dal Bhat with beef curry and rice pudding. Just that it's now at the opposite side of the mountain range.
