En blogg om segelflyg i hela världen, speciellt i Skåne och Norge. Onsdag 27 april 2011. De blev ju sommar innan det blev vår! Fyra flygbara dagar. Det började lite tveksamt på långfredagen. Jag flög 140 km POB, eller 170 enligt OLC. Torrtermik till lite över 1 000 m tills jag nådde cumulusen vid Knäred. Där steg det kockrent till basen, som var 2 200 m, vilket räckte för att glida hem i nästan kavlugn luft. Låååååång finalglidning på långfredagen. Ronny instruerar Jenny i 8K. På väg mot andra brytpunkten.

En blogg om segelflyg i hela världen, speciellt i Skåne och Norge. Torsdag 28 juli 2011. Denna veckan hade vi Ållebergs fina Duo Discus XLT på klubben. Dessvärre utblev såväl medlemmar som väder. Johan och Thomas blev influgna på Duo och fick SSG rating i "boka". Och Anton K fick lära sig en hel del tips om termikflygning. Det är fint att flyga över norska fjäll, men som framgår av bilderna har även Skåne sin skönhet. Men vädret var ju sanslöst dåligt! Jag satt 9 tim i baksits och var aldrig över 900 m!

Det gick fint att få klarering över FL135 när man hade transponder. Jag fick först till FL180 och sedan till FL200, 6100 m över backen. Och där bröt jag. 4575 m höjdvinst. På väg upp i böljorna. Jag flög knappt 30 mil på fem timmar (! I måndags i mycket moln, blåsigt och möigt väder. Igår regnade det och idag är det massor med skurar. Några av kollegorna, som fått alltför stora abstinens problem, är ute och kryssar eller kör motor mellan skurarna. Enda trösten är att det inte är bättre hemma. Söndag 22 maj 2011.
