CPH: Transit and Travel
http://www.charlesphobbs.com/transit
My interest in public transportation started in 1984, when I was commuting between Claremont and Irvine via five buses. While I was doing that, I kept on thinking about how transit service could be improved. Although I am no longer transit-dependent, I am still interested in improving public transportation. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. LA Transit Schematic Map 07/30/2008. There are a couple features I'd like to point out. 2) I've changed the alignment of the Pink line. Instead of continuing south to Culver City, it would instead follow the Wilshire tunnel west to Westwood as currently proposed. This eliminates a transfer for passengers traveling from the San Fernando Valley to the Westside. 5) The two north-south lines serving the eastern San Gabriel Valley would be streetcars rather than light rail. Friday, October 14, 2011. A Los Angeles straphanger in Toronto and Montreal.
