Paul Filan’s Blog. My personal thoughts on life and other things…. December 7, 2008 – 7:21 pm. I haven’t written in awhile as I’ve been processing many of my thoughts. This, I’ve come to realize will be a lifelong journey of discovery and amazement. Here are a few of my recent ponderings:. Why do people hold fast to traditional beliefs, and justify their commitment to them by faith alone? Are you living in fear if you get angry at someone that presents a different point of view? Let’s just be hones...

Just because you have the right to do something does not always mean it is right to do it. The world is not so large a place as it once was. It is no longer a place of vast, unexplored spaces. Frontiers no longer exist. Man can no longer venture far without encountering other men. From this arises conflict. Wars are currently waged mostly for one reason; you have something I want. Wars of the future will be waged for another reason; you have something I. So what happens when oil becomes an energy sink?

Thursday, October 30, 2008. I couldn't have said it better myself! How come you don't write more here? You certainly have a lot to say on my blog :). March 13, 2009 at 2:07 PM. Thanks for dropping by Kev! Im trying to give the new POTUSs policies what I consider a fair amount of time to play out without direct critic from me (6 months to a year, maybe longer). I think Ive said enough so far to indicate what I believe will happen moving forward with such. Besides, your blog is just so darn welcoming.

The Ramblings and Rants of Drea M. Narcissistic Observations of the World That Revolves Around Me. On the Importance of Always Remaining Just a Bit Out of Touch With Reality – Part II. A girl sits alone in a small emergency dispatch office. It is the middle of the night. The room is dark but for a single light above the desk and the twinkling of the Christmas tree lights. She keys the mike and speaks. “Scotia here. Go ahead, over.”. 8220;What are you wearing? Another Friday night in Bridgewater. To Track...

The Ramblings and Rants of Drea M. Narcissistic Observations of the World That Revolves Around Me. On the Importance of Always Remaining Just a Bit Out of Touch With Reality (Part VII). The Girl had perhaps spent too many long, late-night commutes on the dark, empty highway. On this night, the only light on the black road was that of the moon, the stars, and the blinking red light at the top of the cellular phone tower that she passed every night on her way to the office for her back shift. But it was to...

Paul Filan’s Blog. My personal thoughts on life and other things…. September 18, 2008 – 4:49 pm. There is a guy up here in his 60’s that rides 45 miles a day, and he has been the inspiration for me to get off my ass and pedal my brains out. If he can do it, what the hell is my problem. I’ve done little mountain biking, but I believe my preference is riding on the road. Laquo; Blowing in the wind. Posted September 26, 2008 at 3:34 am. Posted December 15, 2008 at 5:31 am.
