Friday, October 26, 2007. It's funny how we delude ourselves, how we are able to pour ourselves into the moulds we believe are necessary. All that time in the church, I always knew I didn't belong. Something wasn't right. I battled it out. I nurtured an interest in music. It is after all the acceptable way to worship God. I learned to play guitar, even wrote a couple songs. I truly believed that music was my thing. It didn't occur to me that making it my thing made me appear to fit. Does everything serve...

Wednesday, July 05, 2006. I don't know what to say. You all took me by surprise. Just the act of typing all that out helped me to organize my thoughts and release some of the pressure in my brain. I feel much better today, although as always, it will take me some time to process. I have to clean my house, as I have a right wing fundamental middle aged christian coming over tomorrow. I'll think about what you all said. thank you for participating ;). Posted by ursa smaller at 8:49 PM. Sunday, July 02, 2006.

Thursday, June 15, 2006. I really enjoyed a post over at Ecclesia Gnostica. Posted by ursa smaller at 9:49 PM. My good friend described this as periods of deconstruction, and then reconstruction. Since our paths seem to be currently parallel, I think that I will borrow these words. Is it best to remain in a state of deconstruction, or is building a belief system with which to process spirituality a necessity? That is, does it matter? But I do believe there is absolute truth. And I don't want to be a ...

Wednesday, May 31, 2006. If "The Matrix" was a gnostic film, would agent smith represent the demiurge, and programs such as the merevingian represent archons? If so, would the oracle represent sophia? Or would the architect be the demiurge? This is old speculation for me, but the first time I've taken the time to write it down. And writing things down is very important to me. Now, I think this close to what some would call pluralism? Come to think of it, every time I start to think of something, the voic...

A whole nother blog. What's left isn't always right, but may be worth exploring. Saturday, August 27, 2005. In response to a thing on another blog,. Yeah, tragically our churches can become kilnlike, can't they? I mean, fledgling sculpture subjected to all that heat and intensity? I'm not sure that this is what Jesus had in mind when he said to a few everyday people 'come, follow me.'. My eventually agreed-upon answer: because there were still more layers of the raw material that makes a person a person ...

A whole nother blog. What's left isn't always right, but may be worth exploring. Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Said I always feel a little blue this time of year. I shove it aside and work at being all that is right about Christmas for my children. But I feel a little blue. That is OK. Yet the agreement strengthens my faith, not my lack of it. it drives me to seek God's face in this time of well-intentioned emotional static. Any breakdown in relationships seems to bare teeth at christmas because we gauge ...
