Sleep overs with Missy. Watching lots and lots of TV. Purchasing fabulous new boots. Playing curses and ninja with my cousins. Attempting to learn how to do a roundoff. Actually, I am looking forward to the coming years of training, and I am grateful for this past year in which I have learned and grown so much personally as well as professionally. Comments about girls being gross, "no vaginas allowed" proclamations at a party, references to "axe wounds," and conversations about "scary lesbians". By definition, gay men don't "like" women. Sunday, March 14, 2010. Let's talk about my summer. Yes I get to spend THREE months of my summer in Cape Verde on the island of Sao Vicente. I am beyond excited. How cool is this? I am going to be teaching english to young adults monday through friday and teaching with the sister missionaries on the weekends. Maybe I'll hit up the GORGEOUS beach every once in a while too : ). Tuesday, March 23, 2010. I found this on Yahoo today and it really made my day. Over 100 simple pleasures:. The first daffodils of spring. An exercise endorphin high. A perfect cup of coffee. A genuine compliment (giving or receiving). The way babies smell. Waking up in a good mood.for no real reason. Singing in the shower. Finding a couple forgotten dollars in your pocket. Doing something nice for your neighbor. A home cooked meal. Helping someone in need. Old fashioned photo booths. A glass of wine.
