Thursday, March 26, 2009. Nico lost his umbilical cord on Sunday so we were able to give him his first bath! He liked it at the beginning and then he wasn't so sure! Relaxing in the tub. Oh Dad that feels so good! He has now passed his birth weight and will be out of the Newborn clothes in the next few days. Vino on the other hand is learning to adjust. Saturday, February 14, 2009. Now this is worth blogging. I feel kinda silly posting the same pictures here and on facebook. But there still are the very few of you (holly, Sarah. Not to name names) that are still in the dark and not on facebook. Post these for you. Eli is eating people food and I've. Gotten brave and feed him actual chunks of stuff. No choking yet(which is my biggest fear). I guess i can't puree his food forever. The boy seriously eats like a grown man. So we got this hanging seat at Ikea.

Wednesday, January 7, 2009. There's nothing cuter than a laughing eli! I'm loving this new video camera it got. It's so easy to use and upload videos so you may get tired of my numerous video posts. This video was just too cute not to share. i love it when Eli laughs (or any baby really.) And it's way better than crying. I'll take laughing any day. What a fun family. January 8, 2009 at 9:28 AM. Thursday, August 6, 2009. IPhone Summer of Love. He offered me his first generation iphone, telling me that he, begrudgingly, would go ahead and take the new iphone. What a man. At first I was apprehensive. I mean, those iphones are fancy. They've got gadgets and apps that bewilder me. And who has time to play with them all? H's first beesting- on his lip! Hard day for mama and baby. H in his new front yard, realizing that the garden hose is pretty cool. The Broyles Boys goofing it up at the LO 'bucks.

Saturday, January 31, 2009. This past week I have spent some quality time with the rowers, including visiting Lucy Cavendish College for a "Formal Hall." (Cambridge students traditionally to wear gowns on these occasions, and the undergrads are required to wear them for exams. Hence the nickname "Gownies." ) A few male rowers and coaches joined us.
