Killer Cotton: Random Points
http://killercotton.blogspot.com/2006/12/random-points.html
Sunday, December 24, 2006. 1 When I'm flying, why do flight attendants tell us to "place your phones in the off position? This makes no sense. Why don't they just tell us to turn them off? 2 When I began watching the Daily Show regularly this year, I like to think I was one of the first to spot Stephen Colbert's talent. I would say to Eliza, "That guy should have his own show." Now he does. Where's my prize? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jobs that I Want II. My Invention: Digital Bumper Sticker.

January | 2007 | Max and Cindy

On the Cold and Windy Prairie. January 30, 2007. Last night I went to the coldest, windiest, most progressive small town I’ve ever visited: Milan. MN This community of 350 uses geothermal energy to heat their bank and church, they have signed onto the Kyoto Treaty, and through one citizen’s Peace Corps work have recently welcomed over forty immigrant residents from Micronesia. MDT – see previous post. Notes on a Friend. January 24, 2007. I don’t know why I feel compelled to post on this topic, but ...

Three Cheers for Max | Max and Cindy
https://harp3r.wordpress.com/2009/05/29/three-cheers-for-max
Three Cheers for Max. Congratulations to Max, who finished his Ph.D. on May 8. I was invited to his defense talk and was thoroughly impressed with the presentation itself, as well as his ability to articulate his work to me (the layperson) and to the specialists simultaneously. A post doc at the U of M for Max, more urban design at CGA for me. Yahoo! This entry was posted on Friday, May 29th, 2009 at 11:45 am and is filed under Uncategorized. Feed You can leave a response. February | 2008 | Max and Cindy
https://harp3r.wordpress.com/2008/02
February 24, 2008. We’ve been busy with house projects. They’ve been pretty darn satisfying. So much that we feel the need to post photographic evidence of our progress! The simplest job. We painted the basement stairs late last summer. Funny how a coat of paint can make a big difference. Before: peeling painted risers, and treads missing stain and lots of paint from previous owners. Sanding: many hours with a dust mask and an electric sander. After Sanding: looks like wood again! Matt K (krumme.com).

Catching Up: DuNord Trip. April 27, 2007. It’s April (but it’s almost May). And this is a post about February. And it’s out of order. You understand how burdensome this is for me…but embracing my tendencies and then deliciously abandoning them for posting’s sake is part of the reason I’ve been posting at all. You can see photos of the cinnamon roll process (but sorry, not the Titanic imitation) here: http:/ www.flickr.com/photos/ccharp3r/tags/dunord2007/. Catching Up: Savannah Trip. April 4, 2007. Kitchen Project Updates | Max and Cindy
https://harp3r.wordpress.com/2008/07/14/kitchen-project-updates
Cindy and I have been working hard in our kitchen. We decided it was time to rip out the old vinyl floors and those lovely bottom-end, late 80s era cabinets. I’m not going to reveal the final design “vision” yet, as we change our minds a lot. Rest assured that it will be exciting. We’re a long way from done. But it’s been (mostly) fun so far. We’ve learned a lot about our house’s history, and we’ve gained a bunch of do-it-yourself skills. Http:/ www.flickr.com/photos/maxharp3r/tags/kitchen/. You've found...
