Ranch Wife: SUMMER GARDEN 2014
http://ranch-wife.blogspot.com/2014/07/summer-garden-2014.html
The heat is growing the bell peppers and tomatoes well. The zucchini and squash wilt during the day but seem to recuperate during the evening. I am trying to grow flowers randomly around the garden to encourage the bees to visit and it just looks pretty. I am going to plant my fall pumpkins where I just took out the garlic and onions. The onions didn't do to well. Maybe I planted them too soon, maybe they didn't get enough water, I have no idea. Super disjointed with them. August 14, 2014 at 12:20 PM.

Today...: Building Raised Garden Beds
http://todayihavesomethingtosay.blogspot.com/2014/04/building-raised-garden-beds-in-photos.html
Saturday, April 5, 2014. Building Raised Garden Beds. We used the site of our old garden, one of the few flat spots on our property. It used to have a fence around it but it had begun to decay. I was tired of weeding and I knew that raised beds would be easier to tend. We calculated room for six, 4 ' x 8' beds. The timbers upon delivery. Steve cut each bed to size with a chainsaw. He then laid them out in their approximate positions. All cuts were made with a chainsaw. We only had enough time to plant th...
