little swallow : china doll: The Pudding Bar, Soho
http://www.littleswallow.me/2014/08/the-pudding-bar-soho.html
Thursday, 21 August 2014. The Pudding Bar, Soho. This weird thing happened to me while I was pregnant (yes, possibly even weirder than being kicked by the tiny human growing inside me and needing to cross my legs whenever I sneezed more than twice in a row) - my tastes changed. I'm not talking in a wanting to eat ham wrapped pickled onions topped with apple slices craving kind of way, but a complete shift from savoury to sweet. Oh, glorious crisps! With Miss B to inhale 5 desserts for lunch. S'more c...

http://www.littleswallow.me/2013/04/hestons-fat-duck.html
Sunday, 21 April 2013. Heston's The Fat Duck. Words cannot begin to describe what an amazing day I had today. And possibly not even pictures. But I'm willing to give it a shot. Two months ago, the CG enlisted the help of multiple friends so he could bag us a table at Heston Blumenthal's famous The Fat Duck. For my birthday present. Miss J came through with the goods (have I mentioned how much I love this woman? So on a gorgeous sunny day, we headed to Bray for the foodie experience of a lifetime. But it ...

Friday, 15 June 2012. NYC part 6: petite fours. Our last (half) day in New York, we dragged ourselves out of bed after only a couple of hours sleep. Well, Miss J and I dragged ourselves out of bed while Miss O crankily cried out "no! And covered her head. Finally out of the house and a little bit dusty, we stopped off at the. Down the road for brekkie. Full up and less peaky, we headed to the 9/11 tribute centre. Where we said a somber goodbye and thanks to J. Ohand we managed to fit a piece of Junior's.

Sunday, 26 April 2015. Depression (aka house hunting in Sydney). Every time I think about buying a house, my head hurts. I know I shouldn't make light of depression, but honestly, there has to be such a thing as causal depression, because house hunting is definitely the cause of mine. 66 houses I've seen to date. All of them selling for a cool $250k - $550k above what they are valued at because this. Market is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S. But anyway. Birthdays! Posted by Christine Fung. OK, ONE LAST OPTION.

Saturday, 19 January 2013. The Parlour, Canary Wharf. The CG was in search of ice sculptures, while his mum and I were in search of warmth. When did winter decide to crank it up (or down) a notch? We arrived at The Parlour. After 2pm on Sunday, and the place was heaving. I really liked the fit outs at The Folly and Drift Bar, so it was no surprise after I gushed about how nice the place looked and we hopped onto some stools to find out that The Parlour was part of the same group. Tuesday, 24 June 2014. Hutong, The Shard. When people tell you that having a baby takes up all your time, they are not joking. An outing a day, we can manage. An outing plus responding to emails, or publishing a blog post? No chance. And yet every day just goes so fast, and Wolfie gets bigger, and I wish time would slow down and I could bottle my memories of every single moment with him. To celebrate with views over London. How gorgeous is my mum? We expected the crispy lamb ribs, marinated for 24 hours,...

Thursday, 11 September 2014. Sushi Tetsu, Clerkenwell. I got the inevitable mummy cut. I would have wept as my long locks hit the floor of the hairdressers, if it wasn't for the fact that it was desperately unhealthy, knotted beyond repair, and had only been left out a handful of times since Wolfie has learnt to grab it and hold on with all his might. Anyway, regardless of how I feel about my hair, I had an excellent Japanese hairdresser at my service, which reminded me that I hadn't get. All images are ...

http://www.littleswallow.me/2012/08/three-of-most-stressful-things-and.html
Thursday, 23 August 2012. Three of the most stressful things and) DSTRKT, Piccadilly Circus. According to my boss, the three most stressful things you can do in life are change job, move house, and get married. So it's pretty awesome that I'm doing all three in the space of 5 months. Yep, I've got a new job. Funny what finds you when you're not looking, isn't it? And yeah, it's the worst timing ever (wedding organisation anyone? I kind of want to say I got everyone to hit up this tasting menu at DSTRKT.

Sunday, 9 June 2013. Voyaging with Vestal Vodka. What's better than soaking up the sunshine in London, when it finally rears its head? Soaking up the sunshine while sipping vodka cocktails on a houseboat, obviously. I tagged along with the lovely Gin Monkey. Last week for a Vestal Vodka. Voyage along the canals. Hosted by the charming Will, we navigated our way from Kings Cross to Angel and back again while the sun dropped lower and lower in the sky. Posted by Christine Fung. Things to do in London.

Sunday, 2 March 2014. Ben's Canteen, Battersea. I'm watching Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. Um, hello - food AND travel? Just two of my favourite things EVER) and a cold chill sneaks up my spine. I look down at my freaking ginormous belly and think "I am never going travelling again.". Luckily, brunch requires slightly less planning than a trip to Honduras. I've been meaning to visit Ben's Canteen. Posted by Christine Fung. THE RELUCTANT BRIDE GOT MARRIED.
