Sunday, September 25, 2011. A Breath of Fresh Air. After whining to you all in my last post, we left for our annual anniversary trip to Duluth and the north shore. I started feeling much better as of 15.5 weeks, the nausea has gone away almost completely! I think I got psyched out when I hit the 14 week mark that everyone told me (including the trusty internet) would be the end of feeling crappy. Sunday, November 20, 2011. Boys and Their Toys. In attempts to avoid this blog becoming a total estrogen and Lindsey fest, here are a few pictures of our dearly beloved Eric. Playing with his toys. Our 'gently used' addition, a snow blower. A very generous friend blessed Eric with an amazing tool chest. He figured Eric would utilize it to it's full by organizing each drawer to perfection. This upholds his given 'indian name' of 'Meticulous Mammoth.'. Lol I guess I'll have to start getting used to that.

Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Celebrating 29 weeks tomorrow! According to all major websites and books, I am now conclusively in my THIRD trimester! Pretty crazy. I'm hitting a definite wall of fatigue lately, as the 'honeymoon stage' seems to be dying down. A lot of folks have asked how we arrived at Pete's name, and most commonly "is it Peter? Its just Pete. :). First off, his middle name 'Wallace' is after Eric's Dad's uncle Wally. He was a beloved uncle and family member, and we wanted to honor Eric's paternal side of the family with Pete's middle name. So there it is!

Wednesday, August 29, 2012. I spend most of every post now-a-days apologizing that I haven't posted for awhile. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Our house was built in 1958 so we thought we would roll with that era in one of the rooms. Eric is almost always up for anything vintage, but I found myself really diggin' the 50's stuff as well. Above: This diamond in the rough was graciously donated to our cause by Eric's Grandma Marie. Eric polished it into its former glory. Nonetheless, we will be enjoying its 'mid-century' splendor. Not recommended for those wearing shorts. Thursday, May 26, 2011. I think we'll keep her.

Saturday, July 23, 2011. Our garden has exploded! Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Two of my dear friends (and bridesmaids in our wedding) ended up getting married on consecutive weekends, four years later! Wednesday, December 12, 2012. I'm guessing that I'll be talking mostly to myself, since it has been over 3 months since I've posted.
